LEGO Country Bear Jamboree Theatre
My fourth LEGO Ideas submission was of the Country Bear Jamboree on May 6, 2022.
This one was HELLLLL to shape everything into one set. I wanted to ensure literally every single part of the original stage was represented. Due to the limited space I couldn’t get the rotating side stages to work without obvious gaps.
Sadly this one also got rejected since Disney is already a LEGO IP, meaning you can’t submit Ideas for it anymore. That’s three ideas rejected in a row whew. Original description:
Welcome to the Country Bear Jamboree!
This set represents the classic 1971 Magic Kingdom bear show that still runs to this day, featuring a wide variety of singing Audio-Animatronics.
This set features the entire cast of Country Bears: Henry, Liver Lips McGrowl, Wendell, Teddi Berra, Ernest, Terrence, Trixie, Big Al, Bunny, Bubbles, Beulah, Gomer, Zeke, Zeb, Ted, Fred, Tennessee, and Baby Oscar. Buff, Max, and Melvin also make appearances as brick-built characters on the wall.
The set is perfect for displays, having room for the entire cast to be present at once. Each side stage also has hinges, allowing the display to be wider or more huddled in based on preference. Teddi Berra's swing also has the function to swing it back and forth from the back of the display.
